'Am I Disqualified?'…First, 'Check' the Eligibility Criteria!
This support fund targets 90% of the public, excluding high-asset individuals and the top 10% income earners. There are two main criteria:
- Asset Criteria: You are excluded if your total 2024 property tax base exceeds 1.2 billion KRW or your annual financial income exceeds 20 million KRW.
- Income Criteria: Your 2025 June health insurance premium must be below the household standard amount.
- 1-person household (employee subscriber): Monthly premium ≤ 220,000 KRW (approx. 75 million KRW annual income)
- 4-person household (single earner): Monthly premium ≤ 510,000 KRW
- ⭐ Dual-income Tip: For dual-income households, eligibility is based on adding +1 person to the actual household size, increasing the likelihood of being eligible!
'5-Minute Cut' Application Method & Tips
- Application Period: September 22 (Mon) ~ October 31 (Fri)
- Easiest Method: Applying through your usual card company app or simple payment apps like Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, or Toss is the fastest. I tried it myself, and it took less than 5 minutes.
- Offline Application: If online application is difficult, you can apply at your nearest resident center or a card-affiliated bank branch with your ID.
Where to Use?…Usage & Expiry Period
- Expiry Period: Until November 30! (Please note that it will automatically expire after this period!)
- Where to Use: It can be used at most small business establishments such as local shops, traditional markets, restaurants, and hair salons with annual sales of less than 3 billion KRW. (Excludes large marts, department stores, and online shopping malls)
