    The journey from Baegaydo to Hwahado takes about 40-50 minutes. Ferries operate **only 3 times a day**, so missing these times could mean being stranded on the island(?)!

  • Parking? ➡️ There is a **parking lot (paid) available at 'Baegaydo Ferry Dock'**, the departure point! You can park your car here and take the ferry. (Baegaydo Ferry Dock public parking is a maximum of 3,500 KRW per day.)

3. Recommended 'Day Trip' Itinerary! (Trekking + Food Tour for Healing!) 🗺️

Based on the limited ferry schedule, I've planned a perfect day trip itinerary to Hwahado, Yeosu, where you can enjoy both trekking and delicious food!



  • 11:30 Depart from Baegaydo Ferry Dock (Board the second morning ferry!)
  • 12:20 Arrive at the beautiful Hwahado!
  • 12:30 Enjoy a hearty lunch at **'Kkotsom Restaurant'** right near the ferry dock, with 'Grilled Fish Set Meal' or 'Seafood Ssam-bap Set Meal'! (Perfect with a refreshing glass of Gaedo Makgeolli!)
  • 13:30 Start the 'Hwahado Flower Island Trail' trekking! (A fantastic course, approximately 5.7km, taking about 3 hours!)
